Adorn Body Art is a full-service body piercing and tattoo studio specializing in unique custom creations and high-end body jewelry.
In August 2000, professional piercer Desta Spence joined forces with the talented tattoo artist Anne Morando to create Adorn Body Art in Portland, Oregon. We set out to create a unique female-owned and operated tattoo and piercing shop that would dispel any pre-conceived notions about “dirty” or “freaky” tattoo artists and body piercers.
In the beginning, the two of us relied on the generous help of our loyal customers to answer the phones and keep the business going. Eventually, as our clientele grew, we began to add more talent to help meet the growing demand. In addition, we offer the largest selection of quality body jewelry in the Pacific Northwest, including titanium, implant-grade stainless steel and ethnic jewelry made of bone, stone, wood, antler and silver.
We continue to strive to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere where anyone from the uninitiated to the connoisseur will feel welcome. Recently, we opened a second location— Adorn East, a smaller, more intimate shop that lets us spend more time with our clients.
