I’ve been working counter at Adorn since April 2008. I work at both the east and west side locations. I am also working towards a BA in Mathematics at Portland State. My life outside of work and school usually consists of thinking about work or school, or playing with my cat, Draca Lilian Sweets. I read books, I do math, and I listen to metal (and Lady Gaga). Hello to all you beautiful people. My name is Louie Cruz. I was born in So Cal and traveled around this planet because of my father’s military career. I’ve been working at tattoo/piercing shops for the last 7 years, so I’ll be able to help you in many ways. Over the years I’ve developed a love of stones, aka “rocks.” I’ve learned many things about their properties and strengths. I would be glad to help you pick out the stone best suited to you, aesthetically and energetically, as well as help you with any of your other jewelry needs. I have a knack for finding the jewelry pieces no one else can find.

In my free time I go to shows and hang out with my dog, Lucia Hamachi, aka “best pug EVER.”

One of the newer counter girls at Adorn, I have only been part of the Adorn Family since November 2010. You can find me giggling and eating candy at the both the west side and east side shops.

Yet another east coast transplant, I moved to Portland in 2007 and have since earned my BFA at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. I am also a barista on the side, but when I’m not working I like to spend my time painting, going to shows & reading comics.
