So who is this new big beard fella? The name is Seth. I specialize in body piercing, positive outlooks, and massive beardage. Although I have been interested in body piercing since I was a kid, it wasn’t until late 2005 until I was able to follow my bliss and begin my journey to become a professional body piercer. After finishing my apprenticeship (at a local hometown shop that has since gone under), I developed a healthy addiction to knowledge of piercing information and sought out every source I could find. In 2006, this led me to the Fakir Intensives Basic Piercing class. This class was one of the biggest eye openers I have ever experienced! After returning from that class, I knew I was on the right track and in January of 2007, I took a job as the piercing manager at Outlaw Custom Tattoo in Montgomery, AL. This was a great time in my career as this gave me time to hone my skills and really develop more as a professional in this industry. In February of 2008, I moved to Tennessee to work for Ian Bishop at Icon Tattoo & Piercing in Nashville, and later, the Murfreesboro location as well. In the summer of 2008, I attended the Fakir Intensives Advanced Piercing class and yet again, had my mind blown away! This class led me to my interest in freehand piercing, large gauge work, and more advanced ear projects. Although working at Icon was an amazing experience, my heart has longed for the west coast. After what seemed like an eerily natural series of events, I’m excited that Adorn Body Art is the next chapter in my life!
