Dean started tattooing in 1989 in Portland, OR. His thirty-year experience is peppered with time working in cities all over the United States including the opportunity to run and own his own shops in the 1990s. He has worked in San Francisco, Berkeley, San Diego, Palm Springs, Seattle, and Austin amongst others. Though large-scale, bold, custom tattoos hold a strong place in his heart, he is always game for the small walk-ins. Dean does a lot of drawing directly on the client when getting ready to do those big tattoos.
He is a family man; Married with three kids and the cutest grandbaby. A motorcycle enthusiast, he likes living life the way he wants to. Dean loves tattooing and feels grateful that he has been able to turn his passion into the long career he has enjoyed. He looks forward to many more years in the Industry.
Quotes will be given for small or medium tattoos. The final cost should not exceed the quote unless design changes have been requested. Large and complex tattoos have a $100 non-refundable deposit and run $160.00 hourly. Most tattoo artists require a $160.00 / 1-hour minimum and are staggering appointments to allow for increased safety measures. Please see our Booking page for more details.

We are appointment only. For consultations and scheduling, please contact the Tattoo Artist of your choice directly. This process allows you to work directly with your artist giving you the opportunity to discuss artwork, collect references and schedule your appointment all before you even have to step into the studio. Please include as much information as possible within your email, such as your name, pronouns, phone number, tattoo description, size, possible placement options, approximate budget, preferred scheduling days, and any photo references you may have.
Your patience is appreciated! If you don’t hear back from an artist in 3 business days, please reach out directly to the studio by phone or email. It’s never our intention to leave you hanging, however, some emails end up in spam this will allow us to alert the artist so they can locate your email. Please arrange a time to review custom designs at least 48 hours before your appointment to allow your artist enough time for necessary changes.
24-hour notice is required to change or cancel appointments. After 24 hours your deposit is non-refundable. 48 hours or more notice is strongly preferred. Clients arriving 30 minutes late will forfeit their appointment time and deposit. A new deposit will be required to set another appointment.
